Circle of Hope Widow & Widowers |
Our purpose is to furnish a setting where widowed people can be comfortable sharing their feelings and reach out to aid others that need help with a loss of a love one.
We promote opportunities for interaction with other widowed people meeting new friends and starting a journey to new life and provide bereavement information about support groups in the community. We offer spiritual, social, educational, and travel opportunities. We also help with Parish events when needed.
We are open to all widowed persons male and female, regardless of church affiliation.

History
During the Synod of 1992, it was suggested that the Church should address the needs of widowed persons. That idea was the beginning of the Circle of Hope.
Meetings are held generally on the third Friday of the month in St John’s Parish Center September to June.
Dues are $10 a year.
