Faith Formation

St. John the Evangelist parish helps its children grow in their faith and their knowledge of Christ and His Church. We have a faith formation programs for all children of the parish.  Children’s faith formation goes beyond the important formal programs of helping children to know and share the love of Christ.

During our 10:00 AM mass, the children join together to learn about the Catholic Faith. They also participate in the celebration of our faith one Sunday each month by serving as readers, ushers, and gift bearers. Through this active participation they not only learn about our faith, but they become an active member of our Christian Community.

On the 2nd Sunday of the month the children take an active role in the 10:00 am Mass by serving as readers, ushers, gift bearers, and singing in the Children's Choir.

A Christmas pageant is also presented at the 4:00 pm Mass on Christmas Eve.
